Most of what we sell is cut and stitched after you order — ready-to-wear blouses are made in your chosen size, and custom pieces are made to the measurements you give us. Hand-finished work means small variations in embroidery, colour and placement are part of the piece and are not defects.

Colours on screen can differ from the cloth. Ask us for a closer photograph or a swatch before ordering if colour matters.

For custom orders the measurements you submit are the specification. Please follow our size guide or book a consultation. We are not responsible for fit issues caused by incorrect measurements, though we will always try to help with an alteration (see our refund & cancellation policy).

Prices are in Indian Rupees and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Custom-order prices shown on the site are estimates; we confirm the final price after seeing the fabric and design, and an advance is collected before work begins.

All orders are paid online through Razorpay at checkout. We do not see or store your card, UPI or bank details.

Delivery timelines and charges are set out in our shipping & delivery policy. Cancellations and refunds are governed by our refund & cancellation policy.

Styling consultations are paid in advance and scheduled by our team, who will call to confirm a time. The fee and the store credit that comes with it are explained in the refund policy.

Photographs, designs, text and the Akshara name and logo on this site belong to Akshara and may not be copied or used commercially without our written permission.

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for delays caused by couriers or events outside our control.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka.
