Akshara Clothing collects only what it needs to make, deliver and support your order. This policy explains what that is and what we do with it.

1. What we collect

Contact details — name, email address and phone number.
Delivery details — shipping address, city and pincode.
Order details — what you bought, custom-order specifications and body measurements, and any photos or notes you share.
Consultation bookings — preferred date, time and design preferences.
Newsletter sign-ups — your email address.
Usage data — pages viewed and device/browser information, collected through Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity.

2. Payments

Online payments are handled by Razorpay. Your card, UPI or bank details go directly to Razorpay and are never seen or stored by us. We keep only the payment reference and status.

3. How we use it

To make, ship and support your order or consultation.
To send order confirmations and updates by email, phone or WhatsApp.
To send our newsletter, only if you subscribed — unsubscribe any time.
To understand how the site is used and improve it.
To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the services that help us run the store: Razorpay (payments), our courier partners (delivery), Resend (email), Neon and Vercel (hosting and database), and Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity (site analytics).

We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

5. Cookies and local storage

Your cart and wishlist are saved in your browser so they are still there when you return. Analytics tools set cookies to measure visits; you can block them in your browser settings without affecting your ability to shop.

6. How long we keep it

Order and invoice records are kept as long as tax law requires. Measurements are kept so repeat orders fit the same way; ask us and we will delete them.

7. Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you by writing to aksharaclothingonline@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.
