Refund & Cancellation Policy

You can cancel any order within 24 hours of placing it, or at any time before cutting begins, for a full refund. Write to aksharaclothingonline@gmail.com or call +91 81471 82266 with your order number.

Once cutting has started, ready-to-wear and custom orders cannot be cancelled or refunded. Fabric sold by the metre is cut to the length you ask for and cannot be cancelled once cut.

Custom orders are confirmed with an advance of 50% of the estimate. If you cancel before we cut, the advance is refunded in full. Once cutting starts the advance is non-refundable, and the balance is payable before dispatch.

Because every piece is made to order, we do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, a different size, or measurement errors on the customer's side.

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or isn't what you ordered, tell us within 48 hours of delivery with photos (an unboxing video helps). We will repair, remake or replace it, or refund you if that isn't possible.

If a custom piece doesn't match the measurements you gave us, we will alter it free of charge — write to us within 7 days of delivery.

The consultation fee is not refunded once the call has taken place. Instead, half of it comes back to you as store credit: a code worth 50% of the fee, usable on an order over ₹1,000 within 60 days of the consultation.

If you can't make your slot, tell us at least 24 hours before and we will reschedule it, or refund the fee if you cancel before the call.

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–7 working days. Banks may take a few more days to show the credit.
